Post-Natal and Mums & Bubs Yoga through Moksha Yoga

The Post-Natal and Mums & Bubs Yoga Classes are designed to help you rebalance your body after pregnancy, regain strength and flexibility and to deepen the existing bond you have with your baby in a relaxing environment as well as providing you with an opportunity to meet other new Mums. Each class will cover postures for both you and your baby.

The intention of this course is to focus on Yoga postures with an emphasis on strengthening your abdomen, pelvic floor and spinal column to relieve tension and tightness from the body.

There is no expectation for your baby to behave in a certain way during the class and if you need to feed or change your baby during the class, you are more than welcome to do so. This course is suitable for babies aged from 8 weeks to 9 months or just as they begin to crawl.

Please ensure that your Health Care Practitioner has provided you with consent to begin exercising again post natally. The Mums and Bubs Yoga Courses are held during every School Term on Thursdays from 11.00-12.00pm and you are welcome to join any time, subject to availability, if you would like to try the class first.

There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep yourself open and aware to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. ... No artist is pleased. There is no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a queer divine dissatisfaction, a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others.
