Teenage Yoga and Meditation Course

Classes are designed specifically for adolescents and are a great way to support teenagers to build confidence and self esteem whilst managing the growing challenges and pressures of day to day life during this time of mental, physical and emotional development.

Wednesdays 4.00-5.15pm

Registration and payment is required prior to course commencement

During this time, adolescents experience immense changes that affect the body’s biochemistry and physiology as well as concentration, mood, self esteem, confidence as well as how they relate to themselves and others.

These classes are fun, open and relaxed and all students are made to feel welcome and supported throughout each class. Teenage Yoga & Meditation classes can be a great addition to sports training to support flexibility as well as strength building as Yoga stretching postures are highly beneficial in correcting this imbalance and in strengthening muscles that are not used in strength training.

The Teenage Yoga & Meditation Courses are held every Wednesday from 4.00-5.15pm during school term.

The next course will be running in term 4 from the 5th October – 14th December 2016.

Investment: $140 per person, per term. Early bird price available before the term begins – contact us to find out more.

Teenagers in regular Yoga and Meditation classes

The minimum age to practice at Moksha Yoga is 13 (except for the Teenage Yoga & Meditation Course) and Teenagers will need to attend classes with a parent and/or guardian for each and every class.  Students 16 years or under will also need to ensure that their parent/s and/or guardian complete and sign the Registration & Health Assessment Form prior to their first class. 17 year old students must also ensure a parent has completed and signed the Registration & Health Assessment Form prior to their first class however they can practice without an accompanying adult/parent/guardian.
